Game Introduction

Need for Speed Reborn is a racing video game set in an open world environment based in a fictional representation of Asia.

A single player racing game. Racing against the clock, with the first-person and third-person viewpoint.

Racing game that will take your breath away. The game is fill with many difficulties such as racing against other racer, the racing track with bumpy landscape and many rounded turning corners. Players compete in various events around the game's world, including various forms of races, time trials, drifting. During Bucket List Challenges, the player is given a specific car and task. For example, the player may need to reach a certain top speed in the game before time runs out.

 The game environment is full of nature with forest, mountains and rivers.

How to Play

The player can easily play this game by using keyboard. "A" and "D" to steer the wheel turning left and right. Spacebar to boost the engine. Up and Down arrow to accelerate and slow down or break the vehicle. By using the mouse to click on tab menus such as selecting racing map or choosing different cars.

Technical

I'm planing to create the game using Unity engine software. I plan to use a lot of art design which will be involve in the landscape of the game such as the jungle, trees, different race track fill with different environment. The only requirement the player needed is laptop. As for character I planned to use first person character also third person as I want the player to feel that they are actually driving the actual race.

The platform on the game will be on PC.

System Requirements

There is no system requirement, any PC or Mac can run the game with the minimum of 2GB Ram required.

Game Architechture

The landscape will be set in south east Asia, fill with forest, hills, rocky path, race track with river flowing across.  For character, the player will just see 2 arms holding the wheel from the screen as it is first person player and for third person the camera will point at the track and the player will only be seeing the car and the track.

User Interface (controls)

The vehicle can be controlled by the keyboard or with the joystick attached the PC. The car can only move left, right, backward and forward by pressing "A" to go left, "D" to go right, "W" to move forward and "S" to travel backward. With the help of the mouse the user can travel to all direction as the user desired. The mouse also represent the the steering system for  first person character.

Audio & Sound F/x

For audio and sound f/x i would like to add the sound of the car driving, drifting or breaking. As for the entire game play the player will get to choose the track from the keyboard. I will add approximately 10 tracks for the player to choose from while racing the opponents. The intro audio will just be nice and chill songs. After the player have clicked on certain thing on the menu screen the tick f/x would pop up.

Level Design

The player will get a choice to choose to race against himself to try beating his/her own record or the race against the opponent with different stages to choose from. There are also missions to complete such as reaching the certain speed to beat the clock.
