like Super Mario with a mix of Monkey Island, Jet-pack Joyride and a cross between Wayne’s world and the Adams house

This game is supposed to be based about a little skeleton looking for some bones or calcium to survive or to get the "power-ups" in order to get to the next level of the game or the final boss.

System Requirements

Ran off Scratch. Any form of PC will do!

Game Architechture

Browser based game posted on scratch.

User Interface (controls)

 The basic “How to play” controls are set with W,A,S,D to move around (W for forward, A for left, S for backward, and D for right).



Technical Requirements

To make these characters we've had two artists on the team using a pixel art software to give it a sort of older game look but also look pg for the kids, Dennis has been creating the room outline and the add features to the room as well as giving the characters a halloween look. Kristen the second artist has ben working on the games cover to give the game a dash of mystery.

Heads Up Display (HUD)

This game is supposed to be scored on how many bones you've collected and the skeleton's health will be based on how many times the skeleton has been hit by whatever it is that is chasing him in the haunted house. This game will also include "Power-ups" such as invincibility to acid, jump- boost, vacuum,  x 2 bones to try to receive through the game.

Character 1

The main character that players play as is a very skinny skeleton looking for some calcium.


Enemies

This game will have two main enemies which will be the Squirrels and the Ghosts that will chase the skeleton. Also along with zombies and for a final boss better watch out for the grave digger.

Level 1: Attic

Level 2: Living room

Level 3: Dinning room

Level 4: Witch's lair

Level 5: Graveyard 


Global Elements

The boundaries in the game are simply as shown, whatever you can see you can travel there. As far as the camera view, it will stay in one spot as you move the character. As far as interactions there's nothing to interact with unless you have a power-up to defeat the enemies.


Player View

3rd person sort of view game. The camera won't move to get around the house faster.

Technical Requirements

The software that was used to make the music for this game was all made through garage band from all apple products. No samples were used for this game, all noises and music was created by Aaron.

Player Elements

No vibrations. The sounds for the game will be basic foot movement sounds and jumping noises along withe the background music

The games audio will be set to be spooky for the month of October

haunted house - platform/ survival , there are 5 levels to complete with a total of 5 enemies that will chase your character, and the estimated game-play is from 20 minutes and up.

Story

Your character is a Skeleton roaming around looking for some extra bones/ calcium to reach it's full power-up to break through the zombies, ghost, bats and squirrels. Your skeleton stumbles upon a very old house or what you might call a "Haunted House!" collect as many bones as you can but don't get caught!
