Game Introduction

Zombifi is a top down view shooter action packed game for the pc ran by unreal engine and is based on current times in the year 2025 and is played during an apocalyptic time on earth that is overrun by flesh eating zombie hordes and you are one of the last survivors on earth slaying all zombies in sight with all the weapons you can find and master using in combat hoping that one day you come across survivors that you can build a community with and get rid of this treacherous nightmare of a world.

Story

The Player character wakes up one morning to find out he is living in an apocalyptic world full of zombies and that he could be the last survivor out there he doesn’t want to be alone so from there on he sets out on his journey slaying zombies trying to find as many survivors as he can so he can build a community of his own for everyone to live in

How to Play

The game will have a simple user friendly control system only involving Up, Down, Left and right keys and using space to shoot weapons in game.

Artwork (design)

I want this game to have an apocalyptic feel to it so I will have the game in a broken down area that could involve it looking smoky and somewhat spooky with possible broken objects or run down buildings of some sort. Maybe even odd fire patches around the map.

The HUD will include a few things and are as follows:

Characters

With my game being a zombie game there will only be one character which is the person you play throughout the whole game.

Character 1

Loki

Loki is the main protagonist of this game who is currently a college student studying to become a game designer he is a fairly athletic person but spends a lot of his time studying or gaming in his room with gaming being his main passion and greatest hobbie.

Level Design

I will essentially have 2 levels in my game.

The first level will be in Lokis bedroom and it will include basic items that would be in a bedroom which is all 2D.

The second level will be where all of the game is played and will also be 2D and is where I will add the best scenery, Items, Enemies etc in the game.


Player View

The player will see a top down angled view of Loki and will be able to see the whole level and everywhere that they can walk they can see everything around them and where the enemies come from and will allow them to react accordingly. This is how the game game will be viewed.

Audio & Sound F/x

I want this game to be intense and fast paced for the first level I will have calming music because Loki is getting ready for bed but for the second level all the action goes down so I will have intense EDM music or possibly rock music which I will decide during development.

Menu Fx

For the menu I want a creepy melody playing but subtle at the same time with possible guns reloading in the background of the music or gunshots just something to set a feel to the atmosphere before entering the game.

I want zombie sounds each time an option on the menu is pressed and I would like to have a zombie/bloody theme incorporated into the main menu so spooky looking colors which would be mainly dark and dull.

Technical

Zomboid will be available on PC to begin with but will expand to future platforms in the future the first one being smartphones but will eventually become available on all platforms for everyone to enjoy

It will be created under the Unreal Engine and Unity software.


Game Architechture

Overall I want this game to be a competitive and addicting experience I want players to keep coming back and to obtain more points or get farther into the game but most of all I want this to be a fun overall experience for the users.
